So, to summarise, not only do the Banks charge a hefty fee for storing, and moving our assets, by the utilization of clever Trading techniques, they also make hefty profits from trading our money on the Overnight circuit, that we see no benefit...... https://cryptobusinessworld...

Re: Russia’s SolarWinds Hack Is a Historic Mess

Russia's Largest Bank Sberbank Revealed Plans related to Cryptocurrency in order to follow new Regulations
According to the Herman Gref, Chief Executive Officer of Sberbank, the bank may issue its own cryptocurrency in association with JP Morgan. The F35 aircrafts may be launched from the Charles de Gaulle as well as the french Dassault "Rafale" from the US carriers. Combined naval exercises have been successfully undertaken together with french and US carriers.

Re: Hearsay, maker of compliant tools for financial services, deepens ties with Salesforce – TechCrunch

That is an obvious next step that everybody was expecting from them. Look at how the democrats believe everything the bad media says. Look how they hate President Trump and in my 79 years I have never seen a President thank people all the time and look out for them. My brothers and sisters hate him because they watch the corrupt news. And of course the corrupt intelligence agencies and the crooked court system is twice as bad. He
added that the need for three-quarters seems to say something important
about quantum gravity, but why that fraction comes up “is still an open
question.”

The answer can be found by finding why the ratio of "half" to "three-quarters" is 2/3 = 0.66666..... which is a ratio that happens to appear often in quantum physics calculations.

Re: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, EOS, Stellar, Litecoin, Cardano, Monero, TRON: Price Analysis, November 5

Unity is the new crypto for future
https://unity.money

Re: Bitfury Launches New Generation of ASIC-Based Bitcoin Mining Hardware

you need just a quantum computer

Re: Why Self-Driving Cars Keep Running Into Things

Quote: " It’s natural to relax, and hard to keep focused when you’re not actively driving."

I think that selfDriving cars are a bad idea for several reasons.

This article has identified one of these reasons : driving requires continuous attention.
To split the responsibility invites distraction into self-absorbtion. I used to find it safer to drive fast and aggressively because doing so forced me to concentrate . . . it was bumbling along that i would have near-misses because i was insufficiently engaged by the task.

There is a trend for people to become progressively less engaged with physical reality, and more focussed on a symbolic facsimile of life. Chopping firewood is a chore that few do these days, but in the past, it was a task that required us to discipline our attention and dexterity. A bouncing axe and flying fragments of firewood used to oblige us to concentrate in a way that is progressively being lost as an everyday disciplne. And i think that we are becoming weaker and less engaged with our physicality due to the absence of demanding physical tasks.

Then there is the sheer difficulty of developing a viable substitute for a skilled driver. In my opinion, driving a car competently is beyond the capability of current technology, and will remain so indefinitely. The variables are too complex and too nuanced . . . so that any stage5 system is going to dumb down the process to the extent that it will be slow and clumsy compared to a human who finds pleasure in driving a car with an elegant suspension.

I think it is more healthy to regard driving as an enjoyable pastime, whereas being chaufferred by a dimwitted robot is a step further into self-absorbtion and individual incompetence.
.

Re: The Longest Lunar Eclipse Of The Century Is About To Happen

wish this would get the facts right... lol

Re: Aliens Or Demons? There are millions "low income" borrowers, that actually have money, but get them in cash, so can't apply for traditional loans as they have a low credit score. Online direct lender like CreditCube and Possible Finance, do launch special short-term loans programs for such people. It's a large group of people that can't get money, but can pay back in installments.

Re: Shrinking universe: Apple’s market share for iPhone X vs Android

Uh Apple phones were never better quality nor offered better features. That was the marketing angle, but it was never true thus the technological edge is non-existent. Apple has never been a tech company (at least, not since its very early days), they are a marketing company. They sell mimes and slogans, not technology. Their tech is inferior and has been since the 80s. When you buy an iPhone, you are getting equivalent hardware (for now, it will get worse when they leave intel for their laptops/desktops) as anyone else with worse software at 30%-100% markup. The problem is Android phones, due to competition, are blowing them away in real world performance (rather than doctored reviews and staged benchmarks). You can get a Moto 5G Plus (for example) which performs better in real world use and has a better camera (better fstop which is much more important than other "features") for less than $300 (note this was the release price!). Think about that. This is also what sunk Apple in the late 80s to 90s. They just couldnt compete on a tech level. But they can overwhelm with marketing especially back in the TV days which the current crazy came from. But TV is gone... how will they generate new hype now when the last TV generation is gone?

Recall Apple does not really write their own code, they borrow heavily and recycle other peoples work and have never proven they can create a competitive OS. In fact, the current MacOS, which I work with often (and have to fix more often than any other OS), is about as reliable as windows 98 and has many of the same performance issues of the old DOS derived Windows. As we all know, IOS has major performance problems as well compared to a vanilla (unmodified) Android phone. Its a funny problem because the underlying BSD that they used for the MacOS does not have the same issues, but their layer of software created the problem. Hence, they are not a tech company, no more than a bank who has a website or a phone app.

Anyway, what you are seeing is actually exactly the same cycle as any brand dependent company. Apple is more like Nike or Levi than they are MS. Now that the hype is dying down, people are no longer buying into the marketing and sales are flattening out. They will then decline unless they find a new market (be it another product or another country) to enter or unless they wait a generation for the next group of imbeciles to fall for the marketing disinformation.

Re: ‘The Walking Dead’: Whose helicopter does Rick see?

It hs to be TED McGINLEY

Re: (Update: available now) All Android Wear watch faces will get notification indicators with version 2.9 update

android ware will help the company ensure real time coverage against cyber threats and scale web protection across all applications

Re: The most incredible photos taken by drone

While Skypixel is known for its drone photo contest, the AirVuz drone video sharing site recently announced the winners for its first annual Drone Video Awards.
